m_171815c8ac28486235ddf35125b27991I have a fascination with the subject of religion and theology. God: who, what, where? I search for answers as many others do & have before me. I am lucky enough to be a free spirit, able to choose what I believe the Divine to be.

And this inspires my writing. All my books come from a theological angle somewhere in them.

‘Brotherhood’ looks at the life of the Apostles after their master has been executed.

‘The Watchers’ is a retelling of the Genesis story about the first humans & how the angels cared them for until lust got in the way.

‘Tesla & Twain’ is the story behind the relationship between two of the greatest men of the late 1800s & their search for enlightenment & to better the ways of humanity.

The books are all self-published & available from Amazon.

I enjoy telling tales. I enjoy researching the many different theories as to why we as humans are here & what we could be doing on this planet & discussing why we are not evolving to being better humans. Instead we seem to be de-evolving into monstrous beasts intent on self-interest & little concern for the state of the world we live in, which is a shame as it is a beautiful world & we are beautiful people.

Debbie Elliott has written several books:

“The Watchers” is the story of the beginning of creation, of how the angels were sent to make the universe & the planet earth, to fill it with plant & animal life & finally to make the first humans out of its soil. Eden, Paradise has been created on Earth & here is why the humans reside being watched over by their carers, the angels. But there is trouble in paradise, as time goes on the angels become envious that they have no female counterparts & some of them begin to lust for the earthly women. Soon that lust sweeps the women off their feet & causes trouble in the garden. The Divine is not pleased & the angels & the humans are expelled from their homes & sent out into the wilderness of the unknown world to learn to live without the grace of the Lord

“Tesla & Twain” is a novel loosely based upon the lives of two of the most famous characters in New York in the late 1800s: Nikola Tesla, the infamous inventor & the even more famous author Mark Twain. In this book Twain goes by his real name Samuel Clemens. Tesla was a scientist & inventor the role model for the mad scientist stereotype in future literature. In this book Sam is his willing subject to test out many of Nikola’s ideas. The story follows Nikola & Sam as they collaborate on various exploits that include Nikola’s attempts at developing wireless messages, electrical energy from lightening storms, creating flying machines & a new weapon that he hoped would stop all wars. The book also covers some of Tesla’s more successful ventures. In the late 1800s he was commissioned to create the hydro electric system at Niagara Falls. He was also a main contender against Thomas Edison in the electrical take-over of the USA, leading to them both putting on spectacular displays & shows to the public with their electrical systems. Plus there are some of Nikola’s more ambitious inventions such as attempts to contact aliens from outer space to his the development of robots to his building a machine that could possibly split the earth into two.

debs“Brotherhood” – A fictionalised account of the lives of the Apostles. The book follows the lives of James & Peter as they continue to pass on the teachings of their master Jesus, their encounters with religious & political leaders, & the inner disputes amongst the early church that was to become Christianity.
